Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and acceptance

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If the law where you live sets a higher age for valid consent, you may use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. A parent or guardian who permits a minor to use Block battle is responsible for that minor's use to the extent allowed by law.

You may not use the service if applicable law prohibits you from receiving it. These Terms are between you and the developer identified in the app's store listing, operating the product under the Block battle name.

2. Accounts

• Provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
• Keep your password and device access secure. You are responsible for activity through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security.
• Do not sell, transfer, rent, or share an account, and do not create an account for someone without permission.
• Notify us promptly at block-battle-feedback@proton.me if you suspect unauthorized access.

You can sign out at any time. You can schedule deletion under My account → Delete account or follow the web deletion instructions. A seven-day recovery period applies before permanent deletion is processed.

3. Player conduct

You must not:

• harass, threaten, impersonate, defame, exploit, or target another person;
• use hateful, violent, sexually explicit, unlawful, deceptive, or seriously offensive profile content;
• cheat, automate play, manipulate results or ratings, exploit bugs, collude, or interfere with fair matchmaking;
• probe, attack, overload, bypass, reverse engineer, or obtain unauthorized access to the service, except where applicable law expressly permits an activity;
• upload malware, spam, deceptive links, or content that infringes another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights;
• collect information about other players outside the normal game experience, or use the service for advertising, scraping, or commercial solicitation;
• evade a suspension, block, rate limit, or other enforcement measure.

Private room passwords are for access control only. Do not reuse a sensitive password from another service.

4. Player content and public profiles

“Player Content” includes nicknames, biographies, external links, report details, and other information you submit. You retain any rights you have in your Player Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display, and transmit it only as needed to operate, secure, moderate, and improve Block battle. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for limited copies lawfully retained for security, legal, or backup purposes.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit Player Content and that it complies with these Terms. We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, law, or the rights or safety of others.

Profiles and external links can be viewed by other players. We do not endorse or control third-party pages linked by players. Use them at your own discretion and report abusive profiles through the in-app reporting flow.

5. Gameplay, rankings, and availability

Matchmaking, game states, results, ratings, and rankings are determined by the current game rules and server records. We may correct results affected by bugs, outages, cheating, or abuse. Rankings have no monetary value and do not create a property right.

Online play depends on network connectivity and service availability. We may add, change, rebalance, suspend, or discontinue features. When practical, we will give reasonable notice of a material discontinuation, but urgent security or legal changes may take effect immediately.

Block battle currently does not offer real-money gambling, cash prizes, or a way to redeem ratings or wins for money. Do not use matches for unauthorized wagering.

6. Moderation, suspension, and termination

We may investigate reports and use proportionate measures such as content removal, warnings, temporary restrictions, match invalidation, suspension, or permanent account termination. Serious abuse, security attacks, fraud, or repeated violations may result in immediate action.

You may ask us to review an enforcement decision by emailing block-battle-feedback@proton.me with your username and relevant details. We do not guarantee reversal of a decision.

These Terms remain effective until terminated. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—continue after termination.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. The Data Safety and Store Disclosures page provides a concise data inventory for players and store submissions.

8. Ownership

Except for Player Content and third-party components, Block battle, including its software, artwork, audiovisual elements, game systems, branding, and service, is owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable law. No rights are granted except those expressly stated in these Terms and the EULA.

If you send suggestions, you permit us to use them without restriction or payment, but you are not required to provide suggestions.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, PERMANENT AVAILABILITY OF ONLINE FEATURES, OR THAT EVERY PLAYER WILL FOLLOW THESE TERMS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY ARISING FROM THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR BLOCK BATTLE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD 50.

These exclusions do not apply where prohibited and do not limit mandatory consumer rights, liability for fraud or intentional misconduct, or any liability that law does not permit us to exclude.

10. Applicable law and disputes

Before filing a formal claim, contact us and allow 30 days for an informal attempt to resolve it. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the developer identified in the store listing, without overriding mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear disputes. Nothing here requires arbitration or waives a right that cannot lawfully be waived.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version and update the date above. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice when required. Continuing to use online features after the effective date constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
